Ege: we have two PR to look at
PR 589
Ege: anybody has remarks?
Luca: is it possible to setup a wireguard instance since this seems a bit complex?
Kaz: As I've been mentioning, this point (=preparing VPN setting for remote participation) is very important for Plugfest, but this person isn't part of the IG or WG, so we should contact this person first.
PR 590
<kaz> PR 590 - Organization for November Plugfest
Ege: The other PR are some fixes for the readme
Ege: I prepared a per-organization directory to put additional information
Ege: Let's merge it to start working on the table
Ege: who is going to bring devices please update the table
Logistics - revisited
<kaz> updated Logistics page
Luca: I can freshen the simulated devices and if we manage with Jan we might also have the code run on esp32
cris: It is fine to mention potential devices even if it is not sure yet we can bring them? Next week we should know
McCool: Do we have specific domains to targets? e.g. Smart Home, Industrial, Smart Cities
Ege: Anybody has ideas for top-down topics ?
McCool: I'm thinking of Smart Home fields
McCool: thinking of AI speech targeting services
David: We might might bring some ArmorSafe devices
David: I should bring the logic unit and not the full 400kg device
David: Ignite, if present might bring simulated devices
Kaz: I agree with McCool, we should clarify the scenarios
Kaz: I'll talk with Echonet people if they can contribute
Ege: I agree we could make call for devices
Kaz: probably we should describe user scenarios first, and then think about devices (=Things) and applications (=Consumers) for those scenarios next. We also should think about authentication for users with possibility of multiple users.
David: What about the Node-Red demo, McCool?
McCool: I need to check the status of devices
<Zakim> question, you wanted to discuss Michael
Ege: Should we invite others to this call to get more information?
Kaz: we should clarify our main purpose for WoT Week Plugfest. if it is like we did it in Sophia-Antipolis in which people bring separate devices or if it is like we did in Beijing in which we explore scenarios
Ege: I was thinking about getting involved in the planning, to get information from the non-WG participant
Kaz: We can have other IG/CG organized events
Ege: I think of having them bring devices, so option Sofia
McCool: We should separate between people attending for the Demos and people that would tinker before the demo
McCool: on one hand we meet to test and find gaps and issues, the other is about showcasing WoT
McCool: we are leading to let non-member bring to the demos
Kaz: if non-Member CG participants are also interested in Plugfest in addition to demos, that's fine. However, for the Plugfest itself we should concentrate on the user scenarios (=plugfest scearios), so probably it would be better to have a separate page on possible devices and participants including the non-Member participants first. Then we should clarify possible user scenarios to be checked during Plugfest based on the available Things and Consumers.
Ege: In the meant time I'll reach out to people that plan to bring devices
