Kaz: looks like Monday or Friday (evening in Japan)

Kaz: it looks like the second slots on those days are fine

McCool: would like to propose the second slot on Monday, which is 4pm in Germany and 7am in Pacific

Kaz: have TPAC in two weeks, so we discussed next meeting week of Oct 14-18, so that would be Monday, Oct 14

Kaz: but... I just realized... daylight savings will happen at some point

McCool: should not impact north america or germany, will both have shifted by then?
… but it will change by an hour in japan

<kaz> Oct. 14, 4pm CEST

<kaz> NOTE: DST change the end of Oct

Kaz: I will create a calendar entry and distribute it to you all

ACTION: Kaz to create a new W3C Calendar for the NGSI liaison meeting for the October meeting

Liaison table

<kaz> Liaison table for ETSI

Kaz: we had some discussion last time about who to list as contacts on the ETSI side

<kaz> "Franck Le Gall and Patrick Guillemin" proposed last time and have been confirmed during this call

Kaz: will list Franck Le Gall and Patrick Guillemin

Ken: btw, won't Patrick retire soon?

Franck: next year, so no problem

W3C Account

Kaz: this is related to mailing list settings
… can set up mailing list on W3C - but need (free) W3C accounts
… three people are missing, however

<kaz> get account

Kaz: just need name, login, and password, and email
… after creation, will get an email to confirm

McCool: then people can access calendar entry, minutes, email archive, etc.

TPAC

Kaz: large meeting W3C Technical Plenary in two weeks

<kaz> TPAC (Technical Plenary and Advisory Committee Meetings) 2024

Kaz: on Wednesday there will be breakouts, one is web-based digital twins for smart cities
… would be good to have a fiware representative

<kaz> Smart Cities breakout

McCool: there are other W3C and NGSI-LD, such as Spatial Data on the Web; send me an email if you are interested

<kaz> TPAC 2024 schedule page

McCool: schedule will not be finalized for breakouts until Sept 19

Kaz: however, I am asking for it to be scheduled 16:00-16:45 Pacific time

<kaz> date/time conversion list for "16:00 Pacific time"

Kaz: other SDOs invited, including ITU, ISO, etc.

McCool: note that once this is launched it will be easier/cheaper to attend the regular IG sessions

Kaz: note that I can invite you and get the fee waived so please don't worry about that

Liaison Scope

<kaz> NGSI-LD liaison scope page

McCool: assume this includes our goals; I think it would be good to have a rough agenda for the rest of the year

Kaz: yes

McCool: noticed we have a deliverable deadline by end of 2024; depending on what we do, that may be ambitious

McCool: there were some previous presentation from ISG CIM on how WoT could address some gaps; we should go back to that

Kaz: next meeting we can dive into those resources again

McCool: it would be helpful to have links to some resources here so we can do some "homework"

Kaz: we can add that to the MD file for the liaison
… rather than a wiki

McCool: works for me

<kaz> NGSI-LD liaison scope page
