Agenda Review & Announcements

TPAC 2023 Planning

<matatk> https://www.w3.org/WAI/APA/wiki/Meetings/TPAC_2023

matatk: There is a Wiki page up for TPAC 2023.

matatk: Right now it's very simple: just the groups we want to talk to and why.

matatk: Officially the meetings at TPAC are between WGs. Some of these, at the moment, they are just in terms of other working groups. If we have agenda concerning specific TFs, we may request multiple meetings with their respective WGs.

matatk: For now, we want to know with whom, why and for how long meetings should be arranged.

janina: It#s a very active time for RQTF and for us in general. We want to keep those conversations going, things coming from RQTF, things coming fronm Adapt etc.

janina: Most TFs are generating most of the cross-group conversations, apparently. At least for the nunce.

<Roy> - diff: https://www.w3.org/Payments/WG/charter-diff-2023.html

Roy: A new charter: Web Payments WG.

Roy: There are things worth considering about the scope.

janina: Even aPIs are within scope to us.

janina: We want accessible receipts. That may be an API function.

janina: Saying UI is out of scope doesn't eliminate a11y considerations: APIs may, as said, be within the scope of our re/ and purview.

Roy: Section 4 is of particular interest.

janina: Things that are bubbling up? Can we have subchapters? Can we markup chapter headings? And so forth...

janina: We might want it for other reasons, too.

janina: I think we may hwant to have a liaison with the Media Interest Group.

janina: The MAUR ist 8 years old,but really ten. So that needs a little look or two.

ACTION: janina to review Media and Entertainment Interest Group rechartering

<ghurlbot> Created action #324

janina: We need to toch base with them, since we have interesting things to discuss.

janina: We ahven't paid enough attention to the music community group. That needs to be rectified. We should get back to them. We'll do what we can.
