Agenda for today

Ege: Marcus would like to give presentation today

kaz: that's fine but I'm wondering if we would like to ask all the project participants to give talks (if we could that would be ideal, though)

How to wrap up the Plugfest results

kaz: would suggest we ask all the participants to summarize their projects within a few mins (5mins at max)
… and then review the final results on the interop testing GH issue

mm: (updates the agenda for the Oct-28 meeting)

mm: or we could do the report on each project during the Open Day on Monday, Oct 11

kaz: assuming the proposed T2TRG joint discussion won't happen?

mm: right

kaz: in that case, the interop testing part should be also handled on Monday, Oct 11
… and we can concentrate on Testing results on 28th

mm: ok
… (moved both the project reports and interop testing report to Oct 11)
… anything else to be updated?

(none)

mm: is this OK?

ek: yes
… note that we used to have presentations from each project participant

kaz: right. that's why I asked about possible presentations in general at the beginning

Summary of the results

main page

mm: the network diagram has been updated

PRs

Update 2021.09.Online Plugfest TD Testing Results #186

mm: copy of manual assertions
… (shoes the update.log)

<Ege> https://github.com/thingweb/thingweb-playground/tree/v1.1-testfest1

<sebastian> sorry, I need to go. Bye

mm: will read the documentation...
… maybe I'm still looking at an old version of playground

kaz: so you (McCool) will work with Ege to fix the problem. right?

mm: yes
… note that more than one organization might use the same implementation, e.g., node-wot

kaz: do you have information on who uses what?
… maybe you can ask the participants for clarification, can't you?

mm: there is some information there
… within the impl.csv

kaz: maybe we can ask all the participants to add an additional column to that file, e.g., "base of implementation"

ek: yeah, we can use "basis" or something like that

mm: if that column is empty the implementation is that organization's original one

kaz: and you can provide a few candidate categories for the "basis" field

mm: yeah
… would call the current "Implementations" "Systems"
… and "basis" as "Implementations"

kaz: this is a same issue as the browser engines, e.g., Chrome-based and Webkit-based
… so this change is the right direction

mm: ok
… will update the script to handle this change

kaz: and you can ask all the participants to clarify their implementation basis :)

mm: yeah

<McCool> https://github.com/w3c/wot-thing-description/pull/1239

mm: (creating a PR to update the imple.csv template)

AOB

kaz: Ege and Marcus, would it be OK for you to to give your presentation on your project on Monday, Oct 11?
… actually, that would be more beneficial to do that on Monday :)

ek_ms: ok

ms: btw, if you want me to test some more Intel devices, e.g., camera device, please let me know

mm: (shows the TD for camera)
… using digest security option
… will send the schedule update to the WoT Members lists (and the IE list)
