About the Verifiable Claims Working Group
What we do
The mission of the Verifiable Claims Working Group (VCWG) is to make expressing and exchanging claims that have been verified by a third party easier and more secure on the Web.
We produce standards that are protected by the W3C Royalty-free Patent Policy. This ensures that W3C standards will remain free for everyone to use, now and in the future.

We use the public-vc-wg email for all technical discussions.
There is also a Member-only list just for administration, such as telephone numbers for weekly calls.
We meet at 11am Eastern US Time on Tuesday each week, and agendas and minutes are sent to the public-vc-wg mailing list.
