ACTION-283?

<trackbot> ACTION-283 -- David Wood to Apply the resolution to issue-140 in concepts -- due 2013-08-28 -- PENDINGREVIEW

<trackbot> http://www.w3.org/2011/rdf-wg/track/actions/283

<sandro> Does anyone claim to be Tony? Anyone know who that is?

<ScottB> No problem

Guus: Respec bug?

gavinc: Yeah, with scroll position after load
... We'd fixed it locally, but not in the version in github

Guus: Next meeting is next week

ITS 2.0 Review

ivan: Main issue that I had with the text was that they use URIs with fragment IDs, and if we want to be pedantic that fragment IDs are incorrect
... they use fragment IDs that aren't designed for XML or HTML
... I've told them that I have this problem
... do we as a working group want to deal with this at all? For us the URI is an opaque string... but we have a section of concepts that talks about fragment IDs
... the section in ITS is non nominative

<ivan> my las

ivan: they can go and register these kinds of fragment types... chars for example might make sense for HTML and XML
... for XPath it's already defined for XML, but doesn't apply to HTML
... and HTML is unlikely to support XPath fragment ids

http://www.w3.org/community/cssselfrags/ might help them!

PROPOSE Ivan to send official response from WG

<Guus> RESP:VED: http://www.w3.org/mid/898EEEF1-9B7F-476B-821A-21E3A24B785F@w3.org to be WG response to ITS 2.0 review request

<Guus> RESOLVED: http://www.w3.org/mid/898EEEF1-9B7F-476B-821A-21E3A24B785F@w3.org to be WG response to ITS 2.0 review request

<sandro> ACTION: ivan to send response re ITS (just testing tracker) [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2013/08/28-rdf-wg-minutes.html#action01]

<trackbot> 'ivan' is an ambiguous username. Please try a different identifier, such as family name or username (e.g., ivan, imikhail).

N-Triples

Guus: I remember that there was a LC draft of N-Triples

https://dvcs.w3.org/hg/rdf/raw-file/677250c8f303/drafts/n-triples/Overview.html

also https://dvcs.w3.org/hg/rdf/raw-file/default/drafts/n-quads/Overview.html

<AndyS> There is a LANG in [6] but it's LANGTAG at [144s]

ACTION Gavin to add Changes from Last Publication, and Acknowledgement sections

<trackbot> Created ACTION-284 - Add changes from last publication, and acknowledgement sections [on Gavin Carothers - due 2013-09-04].

<AndyS> Minor editorial - uses "whitespace" and "white space".

Yeah, I noticed that last night

So does Turtle

<ericP> scribenick: ericP

gavinc: so we want:
... .. list of changes
... .. grammar chagnes
... .. just noticed a broken link
... .. acknowledgements section
... .

Trig Doc

<gkellogg> Also change LANG to LANGTAG, or visa-versa

Guus: last week we agreed that AndyS would co-edit the Trig doc
... this is critical for our timeline
... when will be ready for LC?
... recall that we voted on two features at risk
... two weeks ago, gavinc said there's nothing technically blocking this doc
... so just awaiting editor attention

gavinc: confirm

AndyS: confirm. what were the features at risk?

<AndyS> feature-at-risk 1 -- bare default graph

gavinc: [those] features at risk were:

<AndyS> feature-at-risk 2 -- GRAPH keyword

gavinc: .. triples outside of {}s
... .. GRPAH keyword

<scribe> ACTION: AndyS to prepare a LC edition of Trig by 11 Aug [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2013/08/28-rdf-wg-minutes.html#action02]

<trackbot> Error finding 'gavinc'. You can review and register nicknames at <http://www.w3.org/2011/rdf-wg/track/users>.

gavinc: looking for examples of Trig docs

Guus: ask on the list. yves can probably provide some prov examples from the primer

<gavinc> https://dvcs.w3.org/hg/rdf/raw-file/default/drafts/n-quads/Overview.html

gavinc: NQuads is in the same state as Trig.
... needs the same sections as Trig

<TallTed> ACTION: gavin to prepare a LC edition of Trig by 11 Aug [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2013/08/28-rdf-wg-minutes.html#action04]

<trackbot> Created ACTION-286 - Prepare a lc edition of trig by 11 aug [on Gavin Carothers - due 2013-09-04].

n-quads

Guus: let's aim for 11 Sept

test suites

Guus: three weeks ago we recorded some actions

<AndyS> from last week's minutes -- "David Wood: try for LC of N-Quads next week"

RDF JSON Note

RDF/JSON WG Note

Arnaud: from my point of view, i've addressed comments address to the list and editorial issues
... i think the doc is ready to go to pub
... there's a question about whether we meet level of quality of a REC
... there were some unaddressed pertinent issues, e.g. that it's specified as an algorithm rather than a grammer.
... doesn't use RFC2112 MUST/MAY/MIGHT
... so not as good as a REC but probably good enough

Guus: worth having a seperate section on how this relates to the JSON LD spec?

Arnaud: i included text in the abstract to say that this is not the REC'd way, that unless there's a good reason, one should use JSON LD

Guus: propose to copy that sentence from the abstract into the intro

Arnaud: conformance is orthogonal to REC-track status

<scribe> ACTION: Arnaud to prepare a pubrules-ready copy and notify list about where it is [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2013/08/28-rdf-wg-minutes.html#action05]

<trackbot> Created ACTION-287 - Prepare a pubrules-ready copy and notify list about where it is [on Arnaud Le Hors - due 2013-09-04].

<Arnaud> rdf/json

<scribe> ACTION: Guus to publish RDF/JSON spec provided by Arnaud [recorded in http://www.w3.org/2013/08/28-rdf-wg-minutes.html#action06]

<trackbot> Created ACTION-288 - Publish rdf/json spec provided by arnaud [on Guus Schreiber - due 2013-09-04].

tests

Turtle tests

<gkellogg> http://librdf.org/2013/08-turtle/raptor-2-0-10-turtle-2013-earl.ttl

ericP: i think we're done. i notified some lists and we got enough implementations to go to PR

Guus: i just need a link to the final impl report.

<gavinc> We also need a draft of the document with the finalized features at risk, yes?

gkellogg: i should have this by EOD today

ericP: i recall some editing requires for Turtle to go to PR
... gavinc, do you have a list of editorial changes?

gavinc: yes, i can put that together
... greg willians is not satisfied with the resolution re: optionality of '.'s

<gavinc> http://www.w3.org/2011/rdf-wg/wiki/Turtle_Candidate_Recommendation_Comments

Guus: i need a final doc for disp of comments
... not critical. prioritize Trig above Turtle

[ we are not expecting further changes to Turtle ]

Guus: yes, we've resolved this. without new evidence, we'll not discuss it
... we should be clear if people object, but we won't let that stop process

<Guus> trackbot, end meeting
