Please review the current editor's draft of the ACT Rules Format 1.0 for its readiness for publication for our second public review. Once our task force approves, we'll take the draft to the AG WG for their approval to publish.
Here is a diff file between the draft versions so you can see where changes have been made since our public draft.

Wilco Fiers | Yes, the draft is ready for publication as-is.
Charu Pandhi | Yes, the draft is ready for publication as-is.
Stein Erik Skotkjerra | Yes, the draft is ready for publication with the following edits/changes. | From Siteimprove we would like two topics addressed as editors notes: 1. Regarding point 9.4. Right now it states "Each new release of an ACT Rule MUST be identifiable with either a date or a version number. Additionally, a reference to the previous version of that rule MUST be available." We believe that this versioning scheme is unclear and should be more rigidly specified - either semantic versioning or other ways of uniquely identifying the rule version from inside the rule. 2. 4Test Subject Types (Input Data). For simplicity, we would propose considering to reduce these types to two basic types - rendered in the browser, or not rendered (outside the browser) - as there is already the option of adding additional types when needed. We propose explaining these two main categories with clear examples. These editorial comments probably need refining before adding them to the document itself, but we wanted to bring them to your attention. |
