In the EOWG teleconference on 31 July 2020, EOWG passed a "tentative resolution for further review" on adding information on persona names and pronouns to the WAI Style Guide. EOWG 31 July minutes
Pending the results of this survey, we will bring the issue up more broadly to others in the W3C community.

Perhaps the last bullet could take into account the fact that some languages do not have non-gender pronouns. Something like: "For persona pronouns, when the language has non-gender pronouns, it's OK to use "she/her, he/his, they/their". |

Read thoroughly and no other comments. I support the information presented for Personas and Use Cases and agree that because the W3C is truly international, both US and UK spelling (Canadian spelling) should be considered and possibly added in parens to demonstrate that consideration. |

I wonder if it is worth recommending that gender neutral names are favoured. Even if a gender pronoun is included, readers may make their own assumption on reading. This is a minor thing though. |
