Andrew Arch | I initially found 'Developing Accessible Content' confusin, thinking it would cover the whole SDLC until I read the intro. The idea for getting 'code' into the title appeals for that reason. Accessible coding for developers ...? |
Hidde de Vries | I feel “Curriculum for Developers” and “Developers' Curriculum” would be huge improvements to the current title, because: * in my experience, developers will often not think of themselves as being involved with content (as in, they write the code that *presents* the content), therefore, for me, these two brainstormed titles better match developer's mental model and will help them feel it applies to them * “Developing” in the title first made me think it was about developing in the sense of creating or working on, rather than in the sense of writing code. These two brainstormed titles solve that issue completely for me. |

Laura Keen | I actually like "Developing Accessible Content - In Curricula on Web Accessibility" - in my experience developers do say coding. We use development, or developing more often. |
Sylvie Duchateau | I am not sure to understand why the actual title does not work. But I am not sure that the title containing "coding" is appropriate as making accessible content man not be reduced to coding. For that reason, if the title should be changed, I would prefer one of both titles: • Curriculum for Developers - In Curricula on Web Accessibility • Developers' Curriculum - In Curricula on Web Accessibility Whereas another thought would be that if you translate developer's Curriculum into French for example, you would like to mention the people, so she and he developers which would make the title longer. For that reason, I think that keeping developing is referred to the action of developing accessible. Other suggestions: Using appropriate coding to develop accessible content. How to use the right coding to develop accessible content. |
Kris Anne Kinney | I like Developers' Curriculum the most and Curriculum for Developers second most. This way we're clear that this curriculum is for Developers. I am suddenly shying away from Accessible Coding or anything that talks about Accessibility and coding because I want people to know that this is not just coding for Accessibility - this is how you always SHOULD code. This is how you should code to be a good developer. It makes what you do accessible, but it should just be how you write code. Happy to chat with you about it since our meeting tomorrow is cancelled. |
Crystal Scott | I think the original title works just fine but -Coding Accessible Content - In Curricula on Web Accessibility -Accessible Coding - In Curricula on Web Accessibility Could work just as well. |
Jason McKee | I'm good with this title. |
Gerhard Nussbaum | I prever the current curriculum title. It is quite clear that it is the curriculum for developers. Coding Accessible Content - In Curricula on Web Accessibility: This title suggests just the coding aspects. I think, the curriculum is a bit more than that. It's the same for the titles "Accessible Coding - In Curricula on Web Accessibility" and "Coding Accessibly - In Curricula on Web Accessibility". The titles "Curriculum for Developers - In Curricula on Web Accessibility" and "Developers' Curriculum - In Curricula on Web Accessibility" repeat the word curriculum. |
