Brent Bakken Resources that I think could really benefit from having an introduction video on how to use: BAD, Easy Checks, Tutorials, QuickRef, training materials, and the WAI site.

I like the idea of "Retrofitting vs baking accessibility in" video content, could include some business case topics too.

Showing real people impacted by accessibility is HUGE. Sometimes that is the only thing that motivates our developers if there is no required directive. They love to see problems and find solutions for it. But they have to see it to understand it.
Stéphane Deschamps Most favorite:
* Before and After Demo (BAD)
* "accessibility in 30 seconds"
* WAI Talks in TED-style
* Interviews with experts/advocates/members
Vicki Menezes Miller Most favorite:
- Show real people impacted by accessibility.
> This motivates people to take action. Mostly, people don't realize the impact of poorly designed web stuff

- Show examples of ATs
> People are not aware of what ATs are available and how they are used. Again, I find that this is motivates people to act.

- Quick ref
> Some help in showing how to use the tool would be beneficial as it can appear, at a first glance, to be very complex

- WAI Talks in TED-style
Sylvie Duchateau All ideas sound good. I not sure what is requestedhere.

> Training - more in-depth videos for self-training, for example based on Tutorials, Easy Checks, BAD, etc.

Too quick to get outdated, lots to plan.

> Assistive Tools - show people with disabilities using assistive technology and adaptive strategies in real situations:

In general good idea but depends on execution.

> Why Accessibility - succinctly explain why accessibility is relevant to a particular role (designer, manager etc.):

I wonder if people are interested in that…

> Short Clips - introduce different WAI resources, such as Easy Checks, QuickRef, Business Case, etc.:

Sounds to be in our wheelhouse.

> Talks - talks on different topic (eg. TED-style), interviews with experts, testimonials from real users etc.:

I like the idea, but might result in webinars. Or could we rent a venue and have a conference?
Chris O'Brien 1 4 4 5 4
Lewis Phillips 5 5 5 5 4
Kris Anne Kinney 4 4 5 4 3 In-depth training should be broken down into small chunks - like lynda.com training.

I know I have pretty high ratings for everything, but I'm just excited about these videos. I think they will be more engaging than just text on a page.
Shawn Lawton Henry 5 3 2 4 2
Laura Keen 1 4 5 3 2 I rated "Why Accessibility" the highest because I think it can be extremely helpful to have a resource that management and designers can quickly view to understand what their role is in the process.
Brent Bakken 4 5 2 3 5 Why Accessibility is low for me because we have that content on the site all over the place. I am not sure Video of it will have more impact.
Stéphane Deschamps No opinion 4 3 No opinion 4
Vicki Menezes Miller 4 5 1 2 3
Sylvie Duchateau 4 5 4 4 No opinion
Norah Sinclair 3 4 3 5 5 More training that individuals can use to directly implement would be very helpful.
