1. Select Your Projects
For each of the six projects below (discussed on Projects), please tell us how interested and available you are. If other people come forward to work on it, and the project moves forward, how much do you expect to work on it?
Please use this scale:
- Not at all. Realistically, I'm not going to put any time or effort into this project.
- Just a little. I might read a little e-mail about it, and pay attention if it's talked about during a meeting. I'm not likely to speak up, or think about it outside of meetings.
- Moderate. I'll read a few emails a week, talk about it in meetings, and review some drafts.
- I'll put significant time into it. I can attend extra phone meetings, read and respond to e-mail nearly every day, and can write text for documents.
- Primary. If the project materializes, it will be a major part of my professional life. I will devote several hours per day or days per week to this project.

Generally my interest is greater than that indicated, and my availability will be less certain. I am in less control of my spare time than I would like at the moment. My contributions are more likely to be "spurty" than regular. I will put significant effort into a project which engages me, and can usually find time when there is a pressing deadline. The project that engages me most may not be what seems the most interesting at this point. Also, please note that my timezone (+10) limits my ability to attend teleconferences at standard convenient times (for Europe/Americas). |
