Richard proposed in [1], to restructure the Direct Mapping document and make the normative expression in plain english and having the Denotational Semantics and Datalog formalisms in the appendix as an Informative section

Eric presented a proposal in [2].

Juan extended on Eric's proposal by adding subsections in [3].
