[previously titled "Linking to WAI Guidelines and Technical Reports"]
Page Contents
About the doc
Purpose, Goals, Objectives
- Encourage people to use the appropriate URI for different purposes
- Encourage people to link to the Overview pages when appropriate
- Encourage people to not use a version number when appropriate
- Clarify at which URIs content is stable, versus where it will change, especially related to fragments/anchors/targets
Example Use Case:
An authoring tool developer is updating their Help and including links to WCAG, for example, the section on color contrast. They need to know what URI to use for that link.
Audience for this Document

- added some clarification
Notes from 13 February 2009 teleconference
- William found the list of links useful and wanted it to be more complete. However, the original intent of the page was not to be a comprehensive list of links.
[OPEN] Consider if we should expand the purpose of this page, or point elsewhere for that. Consider improving the usability and visibility of the WAI Resources annotated list &/or WAI Site Map.
