ISSUE-22: The position of a background on pages of unequal width
bg-break bounding-box
The position of a background on pages of unequal width
- State:
- CLOSED
- Product:
- CSS3 Backgrounds and Borders
- Raised by:

- Opened on:

- Description:
- 'background-break: bounding-box' says that the background is drawn as if an element wasn't broken over several pages. If the background image is not repeated, there is only one copy; if it is resized, it's is resized to the size of the unbroken element, etc.
The question is what is the size of the element if the element has a different width on different pages. The width it has on the first page? The maximum of its widths? Does 'bounding-box' not apply in that case? - Related Actions Items:
