Different name for 'background-size'
- State:
- CLOSED
- Product:
- CSS3 Backgrounds and Borders
- Raised by:
- Bert Bos
- Opened on:
- 2008-04-04
- Description:
- Some people read 'background-size' as specifying the size of the area to fill (i.e., like 'background-clip'), rather than as the size of a background image.
Suggested alternatives:
'background-stretch' (although images often shrink, too)
