Tracking Protection Working Group

Initial Face-to-Face Meeting

21-22 September 2011, Cambridge, MA

Location

The meeting will be held at MIT CSAIL's Stata Center, 32 Vassar Street, Cambridge, MA; in the Star Conference Room (32-D463).

To get to Stata Center, take the Red Line to Kendall, and walk down Main Street away from the Charles River — you know you're heading into the right direction when you pass a fire station turned hotel on your left. Stata Center is the iconic Frank Gehry building right on the corner of Main and Vassar. (See detailed directions via T, bus, taxi or car; parking is also available for a fee.)

The Star Conference room is on the 4th floor of the Dreyfoos Wing. To get there, enter Stata Center at the front entrance and proceed straight ahead; there will be elevators to the right. Take the elevators to the 4th floor; exit to the left and then turn right at the end of the elevator bank. At the end of the short corridor, turn right, just before the R&D Dining room. The Star Conference Room is straight ahead, just past a set of stairs.

We will provide breakfast, lunch, and refreshments during the breaks. There will be wireless Internet access.

Hotels

Hotel accommodations are particularly difficult to find this season; we apologize for the inconvenience. MIT maintains a list of hotels in Cambridge and Boston, you might also try Airbnb. Anywhere on the T is easily accessible to MIT.

Remote attendance

For those who can't be at the meeting in person, you can listen in via teleconference; however, acoustics in the conference room are not ideal for active contributions from phone attendees. The number is +1.617.761.6200, use conference code TRACK (87225).
