Potential Topics

Add here any potential topic for the face-to-face that isn't covered by the agenda below.

  • Web Performance guidelines (PLH)
    • There is interest in performance guidelines
    • Goal is to increase the outreach to the community
    • this is not a recommendation item, but more a webplatform.org one, since guidelines are a constant moving target
    • Problem is to get someone to kick start the work and coordinate between the resources out there
    • starting with basic guidelines (http compression, css read/write batching, etc.) is the first step
  • Web Performance workshop at Velocity 2014 (June 24-26, 2014) (PLH)
    • that's a Friday agenda item, ie after our mini-workshop
    • Should we have a workshop in 2014 and are they the best vehicules to get input for future work? Maybe a 2 hours session/panel at Velocity is enough?
    • Talked to O'Reilly and Steve Souders and they are interested with the idea of doing on the side of Velocity
  • Switching to Github
