TimedText/IMSC1 implementation page

Introduction

This page compiles implementations and test cases for the IMSC 1 specification.

Please contact the IMSC1 Editor and/or the TTWG mailing list if you would like your implementation to be listed and/or have questions regarding the test suite.

Test Suite

A test suite, including reference IMSC1 documents and corresponding examplar renderings (as PNG images), is available at https://github.com/w3c/imsc-tests.

Implementations

The following is a non-exhaustive list of IMSC1 implementations reported to the TTWG.

• GStreamer Prototype from BBC R&D
• Green International Consulting (GIC)
• CastLabs Android Player SDK (v2)
• The Timed Text Toolkit is an open source library that implements IMSC1 rendering and validation
• imscJS is an open-source JavaScript library for rendering IMSC1 Text and Image Profile documents to HTML5. A sample application is hosted at http://sandflow.com/imsc1proc/index.html.
