Results

Please describe in as much detail as necessary:

  • A) cannot use arrow keys to move slider;
  • B) had to route the pointer cursor to the slider in order to establish focus on slider
  • C) could get virtual pointer to activate the buttons at each end of the slider, but could not otherwise manipulate slider with the keyboard (LeftArrow, UpArrow, End, or Home)
  • D) by querying JAWS about the state of the object-with-focus, i was able to ascertain how much (expressed in percentages) i had moved the slider in either direction; percentages were not automatically voiced, but required a query after every simulated mouse click
