<susie> Matthias is interested in mapping FDA data to RDF

<susie> He will reach out to the FDA to check that that is OK with them, and to market linked data

<egonw> OpenTox.org makes their data available in RDF

<egonw> http://www.opentox.org/dev/apis/api-1.1

<susie> I saw you had a paper on CDK-Taverna

<egonw> http://www.biomedcentral.com/1471-2105/11/159/abstract

<susie> Egon: this was work from a while back, but am thinking about connecting Taverna to Linked Data

<egonw> Susie mentions a JJ project around aggregating semantic data which may become open source

<egonw> Susie mentions discusses linking to experimental data

<egonw> Susie will postpone this discussion until the next call, which should be better attended

<susie> JnJ is submitting a paper on this topic to the BioOntologies SIG

<egonw> Journal of Biomedical Semantics has just published the first papers:

<egonw> http://www.jbiomedsem.com/

<egonw> this is the journal where the SWAT4L2009 has it's special issue later this Spring

<susie> it would be good to find a speaker from lodd for the ACS workshop on linked data

<susie> egon to explore all registration options to see what the minimum cost would be for a participant to present

<susie> Egon is also looking for sponsors, which may help to lower costs
