W3C is pleased to recieve the URIspace submission from Akamai.
The URIspace specification gives a vocabulary of XML elements for describing patterns of URIs; this vocabulary would be mixed with other vocabularies that associate metadata with URIs. It relates to the following W3C Activities:
aboutEachPrefix
mechinism from RDF, which is similar to URIspaces.See also: WebDAV RFC2518 section 5 Collections of Web Resources.
The submission will be brought to the attention of the RDF Interest Group and the P3P Specification Working Group.
