            Bug ID: 28022
Summary: URI extended in [RFC 2987] ?
Product: XPath / XQuery / XSLT
           Version: Candidate Recommendation
          Hardware: PC
                OS: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Data Model 3.1
          Assignee: ndw@nwalsh.com
          Reporter: patrick@durusau.net
        QA Contact: public-qt-comments@w3.org

Suspect a typo where:

2.1 Terminology reads:

***
Within this specification, the term URI refers to a Universal Resource
Identifier as defined in [RFC 3986] and extended in [RFC 2987] with the new
name IRI.
***

RFC 2987?

I think you meant RFC 3987.

BTW, the *wrong* RFC appears in the reference list, replace with:

RFC 3987
IETF. RFC 3987: Internationalized Resource Identifiers (IRIs). Available at:
http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc3987.txt
