WAI welcomes case studies from businesses, government agencies, schools - in short, institutions of all types and sizes. Jump in to create a new page to post your study or send the information you want to post to us and we will create the page for you!

Create a page on this wiki

To do it yourself, follow these easy steps to get your case study published here in the wiki:

  1. Log into your existing W3C account or create a free account.
  2. This Community Group is called WAI-Engage. To post your case study, you must join WAI-Engage.
  3. Create a new page in this wiki. There are several ways to do this and WikiMedia provides instruction for starting a new page.
  4. Optional: Use the template below to format your input. Use the "Edit" tab above to expose the code, copy the section below and change the text within each section to customize for your story.
  5. Alternatively, you may format the page as you wish and is most appropriate for the presentation of your case study.

Summary

In this section you will post a short summary about your case study and what made it powerful in your experience or point of view. You may want to include what motivated you and what you have learned.

Background

A brief company or institution description - who is this company? How did your accessibility program get started? How was management and staff motivated? were there barriers to launching an accessibility program? What were they and how did you overcome them in order to get started?

The program

  • what was done?
  • how was commitment communicated?
  • how was responsibility distributed?
  • did community influence the launch?
  • anything unique about your approach
