Should the Process CG formally advise W3C management to revise the Invited Experts agreement http://www.w3.org/Consortium/Legal/2014/08-invited-expert.html to use the text suggested at http://intertwingly.net/stories/2014/12/18/08-invited-expert.html? The only change is to remove the paragraph in section 2.2 "The Invited Expert agrees to refrain from creating derivative works that include the Invited Expert's contributions when those derivative works are likely to cause confusion about the status of the W3C work or create risks of non-interoperability with a W3C Recommendation. «Branching» is one example of a non-permissible derivative work." - Related Actions Items:

Related notes:
The process TF asks the AB to be kept informed of any action on this one.
David Singer, 6 Jan 2015, 16:49:41This issue was viewed as out of scope for the Process because the process does not define the contents of the agreement, it only requires an Invited Expert to agree to it. The Advisory Board and the Team were invited to consider the issue on behalf of W3C.
