WAI Site Usability Testing Recruitment Screener


The Recruitment Screener is a series of questions that we ask of potential study participants. These questions are designed to ensure that participants accepted into the study are representative of the Web site's target audience(s). Participant and potential-participant data is kept strictly confidential.

Introduction text

Hello, my name is __ from the American Institutes for Research. We are a not-for-profit organization engaged in a Web accessibility study with the World Wide Web Consortium's Web Accessibility Initiative.

We are seeking Web developers to participate in a usability test of a website dedicated to making other websites accessible to people with disabilities. The session will last about an hour and you would be provided with an honorarium of $50 for participating. This is not in any way a sales effort. The feedback you provide regarding this website would directly influence the development of a high profile Web accessibility resource. Does this sound like something you might be interested in?
