WCAG 2.0 Technical Assistance (WCAG TA) Project

Current Work

WCAG TA work in planning stages:

• Improve discoverability and integration of WCAG resources
• Expand WCAG Tutorials
• Update Before and After Demonstration ("BAD") website

How To Participate

WCAG TA work is developed through W3C/WAI Working Groups, including the Education and Outreach Working Group, and the WCAG WG. To participate in development and/or review of WCAG TA work, consider participating in the Working Group developing the work that you are interested in, or commenting on drafts.

Anyone can review drafts. To get notifications of drafts for review, see Getting WAI Announcements for links to WAI tweets, RSS feed, and WAI IG emails.

About WCAG TA

WCAG TA work includes the following tasks. Additional information is available in EOWG Current Work.

Task 1:

• Deliverables improving the discoverability of WCAG 2.0-related resources on the W3C WAI website, and supporting integration of new and existing resources into the WAI website.
  

Task 2:

• Deliverables providing further explanation of and implementation support for WCAG 2.0, primarily in the form of tutorials, and also potentially application notes.
  

Task 3:

• Deliverables demonstrating how web accessibility can be achieved, including to the content and design of the "Before and After Demonstration Website"; which includes annotations on accessible and inaccessible design elements, and accessibility assessment and repair strategies.
