Level Triple-A Conformance to User Agent Accessibility Guidelines (UAAG) 1.0

Level Triple-A conformance icon, W3C-WAI User Agent Accessibility Guidelines 1.0

This logo is used as part of a claim of conformance to User Agent Accessibility Guidelines (UAAG) 1.0. UAAG 1.0 provides guidelines for designing user agents that lower barriers to Web accessibility for people with disabilities (visual, hearing, physical, cognitive, and neurological). User agents include HTML browsers and other types of software that retrieve and render Web content. A user agent that conforms to these guidelines will promote accessibility through its own user interface and through other internal facilities, including its ability to communicate with other technologies (especially assistive technologies). Furthermore, all users, not just users with disabilities, are expected to find conforming user agents to be more usable.

This logo indicates a "conformance level," which is defined in UAAG 1.0 section 3.1.4 as follows:

Each conformance level defines a set of requirements, based on priority.

This logo MUST be accompanied by a well-formed conformance claim (which is defined in UAAG 1.0, section 3.2.4).

Claims are not verified by W3C. Content providers are solely responsible for the use of these logos.

Additional information on how to use a UAAG 1.0 conformance logo is available.
