Overview?Summary of Literature Review - WAI Resource
Note: Probably use some of the material from the Observations and Conclusions
Purpose/goals:
- Introduction to the purpose, contents, and findings of the Lit Rev
- Describe the approach of the Literature Review
- Summary of key points from the Literature Rev, including:
- Introduction to the problems older users have (as context)
- This is a very thorough study and and analysis
- WCAG 2.0 covers most of the issues
- Very approachable, easy to read, 'popular' style, not formal (laymans terms - not technical)
- Short: 2-3 printed pages
- Make sure the full Literature Review is easy to find
Audience:
Very broad audience. Some specific targets are:
- People in the ageing field who are not familiar with Web accessibility and WAI's work
- People in the accessibility field who are not familiar with the requirements of older users
- People who are writing about accessibility and/or access for older users
- Researchers in the field - to attract them to the wide collection of existing literature

Comparison - WAI Resource
Purpose/Goals:
- Show that WCAG 2.0 covers most (if not all) of the needs of older users
- Act as an interim document pending development of "Developing Accessible Web Sites for Older Users"
Audience:
Very broad audience. Some specific targets are:
- People in the ageing field who are not familiar with Web accessibility and WAI's work
- People in the accessibility field who are not familiar with the requirements of older users
- People wanting to use the overlap between design for people with disabilities and older people in their business case

Notes
There are lots of good facts about ageing and impairment/disability - should we capture these somewhere public too?
Also, many countries have demographic forecasts which highlight the importance of the older population - should this material be publicised?
