2016-05-20: [Fred] the method insertAdjacentHTML allows elements or text to be injected in the DOM after the page is loaded. I don't know if elements/text injected with this method get in the accessibility tree or not. May be related to CSS injected content not getting into the accessibility tree.
2016-05-20: [Fred] I suggest Joanie or a browser vendor be asked about whether this method injects content into the DOM that does not get in the accessibility tree.
2016-06-01: 1 June 2016 APA meeting the above seems not a concern after all.
