This is an archived snapshot of W3C's public bugzilla bug tracker, decommissioned in April 2019. Please see the home page for more details.
The Validator should have a "Pretty Print" feature -- using Tidy or Enscript -- that would allow either "indent"-style prettyprint or "enscript"-style prettyprint (or both of course) for a subset of doctypes (such as HTML).
Won't make it for 0.6.x. Setting target to 0.7.x for review in that timeframe.
Or possibly just create a "Normalized Source" view based on the parsed ESIS? We should be able to style that fairly well for "prettyprint".
merging with Bug #1265 - Interface validation results with tidy *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 1265 ***
