This is an archived snapshot of W3C's public bugzilla bug tracker, decommissioned in April 2019. Please see the home page for more details.
favelets.html contains several href attributes which contain characters like "(" or ")" which must be escaped using %hh.
If this hasn't been fixed, it needs to be before 0.7.0 is released; so I'm setting a blocker for Bug #856. If this is still present in 0.6.7, we should fix it and consider it for a "0.6.8" release off the 0.6 branch.
fixed in http://dev.w3.org/cvsweb/validator/htdocs/favelets.html.diff?r1=1.1.2.13&r2=1.1.2.14&f=h
Why do "(" and ")" have to be URI escaped? In fact, RFC 2396 section 2.3 recommends _against_ it as they are allowed in this "context" otherwise AFAICT.
They incorrectly contain "Validate Page" with an unescaped space which is illegal as defined in section 2.4.3 of RFC 2396; I've probably copied and pasted a bug report from somewhere without checking it any further...
Fixed in CVS HEAD.
