Reported by Bertilo Wennergren: It would perhaps be a good idea if the validator reported the media type of the validated resource. The choice between "text/html", "application/xhtml+xml", "application/xml" (and whatever else) for XHTML docs, is an important issue that many people are not even aware of. The new validator should probably also report what character encoding it detected (the old one does).
I'm not sure I agree, but it wants some thinking about. Setting target to 06.0 Final for further review then.
Didn't make the cut for 0.6.0. Resetting target to 0.6.1.
The new Verbose option takes care of charset and I've now added the Content-Type.
