[[[ No dedicated extensibility: It may be useful or necessary to extend the set of information available for internationalization or localization purposes beyond what is provided by ITS. This specification does not define a dedicated extension mechanism, since ordinary XML mechanisms (e.g. XML Namespaces [XML Names]) may be used. ]]] So you are asking that nobody extends the semantics of elements contained in the ITS namespace? http://www.w3.org/2005/11/its What is your policy for its namespace? Right now, it says November 2005 specification. Do you plan to change the namespace when at Rec? if yes warn the developers, if not update the information contained in the page http://www.w3.org/2005/11/its
This is a response of the ITS working group. We would like to update the information given in the namespace document at http://www.w3.org/2005/11/its , saying that this namespace will not be changed when at Rec. Does this reply to your concerns? If we don't here from you within 2 weeks, we will regard the issue as closed. Regards, Felix Sasaki.
