We've had proposals in the past for complex schemes where you can specify a different transition for every edge of a state graph. It gets very complex very fast, and it not something we plan to address any time soon.

I'm a little skeptical about this particular proposal as well.  But in any case, we already agreed to defer any new features to level 2 of the spec.
