Tested in both the Main Content textarea and the Compatibility Notes field.

<code><body></code> is not interpreted.
<code><div></code> is and affects the saved page. 

This appears very similar to bug 19495, except that bug only references Preview Mode.

confirmed, <div> breaks stuff in both those fields

maybe the <code> issue and preview bug issue are separate ones
