Draft 21 of the Filter Effects spec describes the contrast function with the following: "Adjusts the contrast of the input. A value of 0% will create an image that is completely black."

I think it would be more correct to say this: "Adjusts the contrast of the input. A value of 0% will create an image that is completely grey."
