HTML that makes the validator crash

Entering a # as the action of a form make the validator crash with this error :
Can't use an undefined value as an ARRAY reference at /usr/local/validator/httpd/cgi-bin/check line 569.
Comment 1 Michael[tm] Smith 2012-06-22 02:23:03 UTC
If you are seeing that message, it's coming from the legacy backend (perl code), not the HTML5 backend (java code).
Comment 2 Jane N. Recker 2012-06-22 11:44:33 UTC
The HTML I was testing is a HTML5 document. Shouldn't it be tested with the HTML5 validator? Or is it at another URL? Anyway, it crashes the validator which is not normal I guess.
Comment 3 Ville Skyttä 2012-06-24 14:35:11 UTC
I cannot reproduce the problem with validator.w3.org nor my local validator instance.
