Audio-ISSUE-20 (currentTime): Relationship to currentTime [Web Audio API] http://www.w3.org/2011/audio/track/issues/20 Raised by: Marcus Geelnard On product: Web Audio API The phrases "relative to the AudioContext .currentTime", "relative to the currentTime attribute of the AudioContext" and "in relation to the context's currentTime attribute" are almost certainly wrong. It must be a time on the same timeline as AudioContext. Also, the phrasing should be consistent.

Comment from Kumar «The term "time coordinate system" used in QuickTime is clear and suitable for this purpose - http://developer.apple.com/library/mac/#documentation/QuickTime/RM/MovieInternals/MTTimeSpace/B-Chapter/2MovieTimeandSpace.html "... in the same time coordinate system as AudioContext.currentTime" seems clear and accurate. » Changeset from the editor: https://dvcs.w3.org/hg/audio/rev/6ea467c0b48b Comment from Philip in http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-audio/2012AprJun/0492.html « That works for us.» Marking as Resolved Fixed.
