There are typos in 15.5 Small-caps: the 'font-variant' property (http://www.w3.org/TR/CSS21/fonts.html#small-caps). Conversation begins: Bug description: http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-style/2011Oct/0350.html (Issues 1 and 2) Acknowledgement: http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-style/2011Oct/0427.html
Specifically, the proposal is: Section 15.5 (Small-caps: the 'font-variant' property) [http://www.w3.org/TR/CSS21/fonts.html#small-caps] says: # It is acceptable (but not required) in CSS 2.1 if the # small-caps font is a created by taking a normal font # and replacing the lower case letters by scaled # uppercase characters. s/a created/created/ s/lower case/lowercase/
This bug reports seems to be a DUPLICATE of Bug 14437 - Editorial issues with small-caps
.. and of Bug 14440 - Editorial tweaks to sentence wrt font-variant
