Transitions work on computed style, so this should transition, and is what the current implementations do. We just need to make sure the spec says this.

I think the spec already says this pretty clearly at the start of section 3 (Starting of transitions).

I think it would be great to put this case in the test suite.

This works as currentColor is defined in CSS Color Level 3, but is broken by the proposal in CSS Color Level 4.
