Description Ralf Hauser 2002-12-10 01:58:50 UTC
Especially until SSL (http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=77) gets
supported, people will often get to " Sorry, this type of URI scheme (https) is
not supported by this service... ". My suggestion is to
a) Please add a hint to the "save locally and use the File Upload" approach
b) How about also hyper-linking into the todo-list or other discussion
on the topic?

Was discussed in

Probably won't make it into 0.6.2, but setting target there regardless in case
someone has time to look at this. The fix is trivial (editorial/documentation
update). Anyone up for adopting this bug?

Added minimal note that you can save the file and validate by file upload and
add link to Bug #77 to allow people to track the progress of SSL/TLS support.
