Social networks and instant messaging

Use #w3cTPAC to refer to the event on social networking sites:

   Mastodon: @w3c@w3c.social
   LinkedIn: W3C

Remember: Do not microblog W3C Member-confidential matters!

Chat with participants:

   IRC: #tpac-chat on irc.w3.org
   Slack: #tpac on w3ccommunity.slack.com

See Internet Relay Chat (IRC) in the W3C guidebook for how to connect to IRC.

IRC

Apart from the IRC channels used by the different groups, there are three general channels:

Channel Description
#tpac-chat For informal chat at any time before and during the TPAC week
#tpac-help For help with TPAC and health rules-related issues during the TPAC week
#tpac For meeting minutes during the plenary session

To connect to IRC, join with the web client (via the 'join IRC' link below) or connect an IRC client to irc.w3.org.

To ask a question, type q+ to … (e.g., ‘q+ to ask what is lifo’ or ‘q+ to comment on slide 7’). To add a question for later discussion, use question+ … (e.g., ‘question+ Other feedback?' or ‘question+ Topics for next week’) either on #ac or in a breakout session IRC channel.
