Task Force Reports
HolgerK: Core: mostly editorial with a PR merged in by bergos today.
… SPARQL: No updates
… Node Expressions: A PR waiting for approval for the SPARQL function change
… simonstey will work on a PR towards getting it out of draft
… We are at a good point now after the above PR is complete to start working on the test cases.
<simonstey> this was the other PR HolgerK was talking about: w3c/
nicholascar: Profiling: added a few use cases to GitHub issues
… Profiling packaging mechanics using owl:imports with added examples on a PR
… Thanks TallTed on reviewing the PR and working on some of the language of the document
… Once the pull request is merged, I will forward it to the Data Exchange WG to demonstrate usage evidence of the Profiles Vocabulary.
edmond: UI: One/Two PRs merged and still discussing core UI concepts
nicholascar: Rules: A couple of use cases for rules from the Australian Biodiversity Data Repository project.
Sorry AndyS, I missed your update for the notes
elianaP: Compact Syntax Update: No update from members
<AndyS> There will be a rule TF meeting tomorrow (4th Nov) to discuss the content of the rules doc.
HolgerK: Thanks to nicholascar for fixing the GitHub Actions build. Search engines will now properly index the published documents
Wide Review
<TallTed> note that Rules TF is now at 5am ET, 2am PT, making attendance even less likely for most if not all US, Canada, etc.
nicholascar: Sending out an email summarising the SHACL 1.2 in the Overview document and a couple of others. Could the group review the documents in the agenda and see whether anyone objects to the wide review.
AndyS: Not a lot of time for the end of the month. RDF WG aims to have a 2 month review. Perhaps we could make it till the end of December.
nicholascar: To contact RDF and SPARQL WG
nicholascar: I've done the self assessment accessibility review, mainly for UI.
… Will check to see if SHACL Core document meets the structural semantics
… At the end of the review period, will move to CR.
caribou: Suggest creating a GitHub issue relating to Core and SPARQL's review and also create issues in the other relevant GitHub repositories to track this.
HolgerK: Is there a chance to move the meeting an hour earlier for the members in QLD, Australia?
TallTed: It will be 7AM if we shift it an hour earlier for some US members
nicholascar: Should we do a poll?
bergos: We could alternate every week for one hour earlier and the current time
