Steven: UI Common in a way is not really common. Should we rename, or do something else?

Erik: We call it HHLA

Steven: Of course alert on an item or a case has no role, though it does no harm.

Steven: Rename?

Steven: They are all labelling elements, just one is always visible, and three under certain states

Erik: Aria uses other terms for the things, but I don't see that they have an encompassing name for all of them.

Steven: Common description elements?

Erik: Description could work or similar.

ACTION: Suggest name for descriptive elements

Writing to nodes

https://www.w3.org/community/xformsusers/wiki/XForms_2.0#The_setvalue_Element

Steven: I want to check we agree
… No writing to the root node

<Steven> s/No/

Steven: namespace etc, is undefined
… how about action-error if for instance <input> writes to a node with children

Erik: No it shouldn't be action-error

Erik: Namespace nodes are weird.
… maybe gone from xpath already

AOB

Steven: Next meeting 23rd, 30th, none on 6th June
… my XForms tutorial got accepted for MarkupUK
