Action: Steven to suggest how to override label etc bindings

https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-xformsusers/2025Apr/0016

Steven: I added a bit of text that says the label on the control overrides any other

Alain: Should also apply to help hint and alert.

ACTION: Steven add override condition for help hint and alert

Action: Steven to write text for validity on trigger

https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-xformsusers/2025Apr/0017

Steven: I added text for validity

Erik: OK

Alain: OK

<output mediatype=""/>

https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-xformsusers/2025Apr/0015

Steven: I think it already supports what we want

Alain: For HTML it is serialised in a text node

Erik: It is unclear.

Alain: The point is when there are children elements, whether the text value or the nodes are represented.

Erik: It could use the existence of a child node to decide one way or the other.
… Orbeon doesn't implement SVG this way.
… It could be an option.

ACTION: Steven to suggest text for allowing children nodes of data for output

https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-xformsusers/2025Apr/0007

https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-xformsusers/2025Apr/0012

Steven: I would like to get rid of the child node restriction on reading data.

Erik: Fine

AOB

Stevn: Regrets for next week.
