Meeting minutes
Minutes Review
McCool: let's talk about the profile testing in the testing call
McCool: I intend to work on the societal impact questionnaire
McCool: any changes?
IIWOT Conference
McCool: I cannot travel in person, most probably
McCool: the rest of the conference is not very interesting
Ege: you can motivate the trip since it is with CES at the same time
… since matter will be shown there
McCool: also regarding Matter, the devices and sensors group is talking with Matter about second display
McCool: we can also reach out to them
Ege: how can we do it?
Sebastian: my personal opinion is to concentrate on our activity inside our CR period
McCool: will respond to the Chair explaining our difficult situation
Kaz: I agree with it
Cancellations and updates
McCool: testfest should be until 15th of December since Kaz is not available
McCool: marketing will be 30 mins only and the chairs and team contact will join once a month
Kaz: regarding the Testfest, we should concentrate on checking the results and actual tests should be done before the Testfest itself.
McCool: Ege, did you update the marketing calendar?
Ege: sorry I forgot, I will do it
McCool: we should go to CR as efficiently as possible
McCool: W3M prefers the charter to start right after
McCool: we can extend the current one a little bit
McCool: there are also delays due to the transition
McCool: even if we finish draft, we still need 2 week review period
Kaz: we need to see our progress and delay every day and every week, and have to think about whether we need further extension or not in early January
ml: do we know about a deadline for the transition deadline
McCool: MIT said they want it by end of the year
ml: are there any plans to do a live workshop?
Sebastian: Siemens can host it but beginning of next year might be too early
Kaz: we should not mix the topics, we are discussing CR delays, new charter and potential f2f meeting at once. However, we should concentrate on the CR transition now, and I really would like to ask you all to manage the progress and how long it would take for us to reach the REC stage.

<kaz> CR Transition Request for WoT Discovery
McCool: we have some issue tracker issues
TD Transition Request
<kaz> CR Transition Request for WoT Thing Description 1.1
<kaz> Review comment tracker for TD
McCool: I see issues in the issue tracker
Sebastian: they are resolved but the internationalization group did not close the issues
McCool: also, they have to change the status
Sebastian: can we remove the label?
McCool: a bot will add it back
Kaz: we need to get confirmation by the wide review groups
McCool: we should do our best to resolve the wide review issues
McCool: I have merged some new results for TD from Ege
Profile
McCool: we should talk about the profile testing
ml: I cannot attend the testing call but everything is in the profile repo
McCool: I will probably copy the results to testing
ml: let's not move things without discussing
Kaz: Given Lagally is not available for the Testing call after this call, let's talk about the Testfest logistics quickly in the remaining time of this call
McCool: in the meantime, we should check for conflicts with other calls
New WG Charter
OPCUA Liaison
McCool: we should wait for the legal entity
Sebastian: I am talking once in a while with them but the ball is on us
Kaz: Given this is part of the New WG Charter topic, we need to think about how to describe expected liaisons for actual WoT deployment in general within the new WG Charter including OPC UA.
Usage of the W3C WoT Twitter account
McCool: ege please open an issue in marketing
Ege: ok
Kaz: For that purpose, please clarify why we need to let the WoT CG use the same Twitter account of the WoT IG, and also describe the Pros and Cons for that direction. If we as the whole WoT IG really want to share the official Twitter account with the WoT CG, I think we need to talk with the Project Management Team and the MarComm Team about that idea.
