Implementation Reports

McCool: have updated the Implementation Reports for TD, Architecture and Discovery

<McCool_> TD 1.1

<McCool_> https://github.com/w3c/wot-architecture/blob/main/testing/report11.html

<McCool_> Discovery Architecture 1.1

McCool: copied the template HTML from the ones for the previous RECs
… need to capture the testimonials too
… but wondering about the need
… features are same as assertions
… my hope is having some blanket descriptions for testimonials

Kaz: having a separate testimonial document would be fine
… but we still need to describe who provided the results within the IR

McCool: having a separate testimonial document would be nice
… OK with having the self-contained style, though

Lagally: please show the section 5 again
… if we look at the columns, can we tell why we have fails?

Ege: check for TD is stricter

McCool: maybe the testing tool doesn't work properly...

<mlagally_> https://github.com/w3c/wot-thing-description/blob/20a66ccef95be67e5848ed51a9656bed9f62e12a/testing/all-TD-implementations.csv

Lagally: it would make sense to look into the CSV again
… the above CSV shows which features implemented by which implementations

McCool: let's mention the potential issues
… probably issues with manual assertions
… useful to look into the rows of this consolidated CSV
… having no TDs would cause the "XXXX" field here

Kaz: I think it would be better for us to check the rows with 0 results
… we can share the load by 7 people here

McCool: yeah, agree

Lagally: also wondering about the divergence

McCool: sometimes the number of the total field doesn't match the sum because some of the fields are minimum
… also for the manual assertions, we still many 0 results
… so Lagally's consolidated CSV should be useful for further check

Kaz: would suggest we quickly skim the test results based on the consolidated CSV
… not during this call, but should do that quickly

McCool: can we do that next week?

Lagally: yeah
… let's adjust the agenda for that

Next Testfest Logistics

McCool: (creates the work area)

2022.12.Online

McCool: (also copies the README.md from the one for the previous Testfest)

Lagally: (explains his expectation for the next Testfest/Plugfest)

Kaz: we should concentrate on Testing for WoT Profiles this time in December
… also we're getting out of time or today, so I'd suggest we continue the discussion next week
… and people are encouraged to create Issues and PRs for proposals

McCool: yeah
… I'll merge this README.md as the starting point for that purpose

template README.md as a starting point
