McCool: Ege will start chairing Testing call after the TPAC meetings

McCool: This week no TF calls. Next week it is planed to have again regular meetings.

Lagally: We need to cacel Arch/Profile meeting next week due to an conflict

Kaz: Which meetings are cancelled?

McCool: So far only Arch/Profile is cancelled

Kaz: There may a conflict with the TD call since there is a TPAC breakout session
… maybe it is possible to have the call for the first hour
... please note that we should avoid overlaps with breakouts and group meetings for the official TPAC weeks of Oct 18-22 and Oct 25-29, basically

TPAC status and planning

McCool: Tomorrow we will have the open day (day 2) with Netzo and ECHONET. Not sure about SDW yet

https://www.w3.org/WoT/IG/wiki/F2F_meeting,_October_2021#Oct_14_-_Open_Day

Smart Cities

Kaz: breakout session on Oct 18 at 15UTC and Oct 21 14UTC. Please get registered with them on CVent by searching for "Smart Cities".

Testing Report

McCool: I provided a PR for the latest testing report
… as you can see some tests failed, implementations needed

https://github.com/w3c/wot-thing-description/pull/1245

Lagally: how about profile testing?
... I think, we need to have a stable version of the Profile befor going to implementation
... I do not share this. The protocol binding part is stable, but, the data model part needs further clarification.

Kaz: Before discussing how to test the Profile spec, we should fix the content of the spec itself. So I'd suggest we should continue collaborative discussion during the Editors call.
... I'll generate a doodle poll to see the better slot for the Editors call

Daniel: I have similar point like Ege, actions is kind of underspecified in the TD. In the Profile a specific behavior is expected

Publication planning

Kaz: regarding the WG Chartering, do we prefer 6-month extension before rechartering to officially re-chartered?
... we need to clarify which way to go, recharter or charter extension
