preview agenda with items from two minutes

JS: Standard agenda I think.

TPAC 2017 https://www.w3.org/WAI/APA/wiki/Meetings/TPAC_2017

JS: Nothing to report.
... If you haven't booked yet, please do.

Task Force Checkins

JS: We've let Rossen know about Ian's appointment.
... Ted, this leaves it up to you to decide how much time/effort you can contribute.

TD: I'm happy to be Ian's assistant.

IP: Ted, would welcome your help.
... This is my first attempt at being facilitator.

JS: We're waiting for Rossen to respond.

MC: Suggest Ian goes ahead to schedule a catchup.

IP: Will do.
... Have other commitments it's likely to be in the next two/three weeks.

LW: When is APA meeting at TPAC?

JS: Mon/Tue

LW: Think that's the same time as CSS, so assume there will be a CSS TF meeting somewhere in there?

JS: Yes, and with ARIA too.
... We're expecting activity from the RQ TF to come through soon.
... I'm the blocker on that though.
... We've been looking at authentication.
... Hope to discuss at TPAC about this.

MC: A WD updated of WCAG 2.1 was published on Friday.

JS: Nothing to report on the Web Playments TF.

Actions Checkin (Specs) https://www.w3.org/WAI/APA/track/products/8

action-2131?

<trackbot> action-2131 -- Michael Cooper to Ask webappsec if csp is meant to block bookmarklets, and raise issue of a11y scripts that users explicitly request (not xss) -- due 2017-05-17 -- OPEN

<trackbot> http://www.w3.org/WAI/APA/track/actions/2131

MC: Still to be done.
... that's all, except for actions assigned to people not on the call today.

JS: Is it worth reassigning Shane's actions?
... I'll ping him to ask what time he has.

new on TR http://www.w3.org/TR/tr-status-drafts.html

MC: Nothing new.

Other Business

TD: Intuit is in the Bay Area, so is there anything we can do to help with the logistics for TPAC?

MC: Nothing to do in terms of logistics.
... Sponsorship is always welcome.

LW: There is a meetup on the Monday of TPAC that might benefit from a local benefactor.

TD: I could organise a Bay Area Accessibility dinner?

LW: The Monday meetup is TPAC wide, not just focused on accessibility.

JS: We try to organise informal meetings/gatherings during TPAC week too.

MC: There is a Silver TF meeting on Thursday of TPAC week.
... Though it hasn't been announced officially.
... Wednesday is the official TPAC reception, and Tuesday is the AC/Chairs dinner.
... So Mondays and Thursdays are usually the better bet for informal things.

LW: A quick nudge on Microdata.

JS: I will do before the end of the week.

LW: Thanks.
