<JeffH> does it matter or not whether one adds one's handle to the `present+` command?

<scribe> scribenick: jcj_moz

<weiler> name or handle or something is important, for attendance in minutes. there's nothing re: the irc bots that otherwise cares, AFAIK

tony: Cancelling next week's meeting due to the FIDO face-to-face

weiler: Starting with the following meeting, will be switching out the conference call information

tony: So we have some open PRs to go over today...
... Continuing 314, 319, and 321.
... so I believe jcj_moz has been looking at 314

JeffH: I probably need to review 314/319 and haven't had time

jcj_moz: Seems like we need editors of html to triage the issue #769 at html

JeffH: I think we just make the PR and watch what happens

jcj_moz: I don't know what to do next

JeffH: Maybe talk to bz or annevk 1-1
... So I guess 314/319 are in progress

Tony: Someday it will end.

JeffH: That moves us to 321
... I do have comments. I'm still in progress on review.
... Overall vgb has done a bangup job; it's difficult to figure out the relationships between these terms that we don't clearly delineate, but from tech perspective it looks good

vgb: I also pushed out a couple of detail-level wording touchups today
... I also have some improvements ... in reading through it, one of the weak areas is trust verification on DAA, so I'll work with __??__ offline to explain

JeffH: I'll help

vgb: If you find ways to improve the presentation, help

JeffH: I went through and pulled out a list of all the attestation terms, and it's an amazing number

Rolf: What do people think about adding a figure to explain the attestation elements and how they're nested
... How they all fit together.

JeffH: That's what I was thinking about, trying to figure out how it all nests

Rolf: I had to draw a picture while reading that thing. And if I had to do that, it's a good sign that we should

vgb: We could put that sketch in for starters

Rolf: What are the constraints about graphics?

vgb: We'll use SVG for presentation

Rolf: We don't require SVG's data to be hand-editable?

vgb: Right.

JeffH: So I'll work on this, this afternoon

<JeffH> pr #321 textual diff: http://kingsmountain.com/doc/diff/diff-webauthn-vgb-u2f-attestation-0d0fcea--from--master-6267cc1.pdf

Tony: Rolf's going to work on a diagram. Jeff and Alexei are going to give comments back. When do we think that we can close this? What we discussed last week was as soon as we can close this one, we want to publish a 4th draft

<JeffH> does not include further changes since this last weekdn

Tony: Given that we aren't going to meet next week - a bunch of us will be there in person to discuss this if need be, but I'd like to get some level of agreement amongst people at the meeting next week to push this to closure

JeffH: Something we've discussed in the past was to do WD updates more often
... We don't have to take everything marked WD-04 to release WD-04

jcj_moz: Will finish review in next 12 hours

JeffH: Let's say publish the week after-next

Tony: I want to get the comments out there so we can discuss in person
... That takes us out of PRs, so into issues?

<selfissued> Terminology matters!

Tony: Any issues out there hanging up implementation?

Angelo: <not really... the edge implementation is internal builds (?)>

alexei: Google's is in the public, so you can follow along

Tony: jcj_moz - do you have hardware support yet?

jcj_moz: No.

Angelo: Should we start a milestone WD-05?

JeffH: I'll do that

vgb: I think some of the WD-04 isssues are done in PR 321.

<apowers> anyone want to approve my PR from November?

<apowers> https://github.com/w3c/web-platform-tests/pull/4120

<apowers> sorry, that's from October

weiler: I've posted Websec and the Privacy WG to the list for those interested

oops

Tony: OK, let's give you 30m back then
